Hyper… realism 4

To continue about the theme of hyperrealism and because I found here a art treasure, I want to add an other artist to the “collection” : John de Andrea, born in 1941. With this american artist, we are no more in the painting that looks like a photo… but to an other step of the “hyperreality” : sculptures (polyester and glass fiber) which/who look like human beings. It is so a confusion to see the perfection of the realisation.

It seems like we are sharing a privileged moment in the workshop of the artist, a private seance with him and his models.

The immorality…

The eternal beauty of youth…

The time suspended…

On the age. “I would like them to breathe”.
