Le Confident

Ideas tête-à-tête

Because the Centre Georges Pompidou makes a tribute to one of the more reputed living artist, I introduce here the work of Gerhard Richter ; a german artist born in 1932. Figurative or abstract, he is especially reconized for the blur effect he creates, mixing photos and painting.

A confusion … a photo ? No a painting ! Hyperrealism !

A blur effect…

A family photo ? Him and his aunt murdered during the second world war because she had mental troubles. A tribute to her, to peace, to childhood.

I feel in front of this picture like a neighbor of the twin towers, spectator of the chaos throughout the dirty fenster of an office. A tribute to 9/11.
