A nature of mimicry

Did you never play to this game : find the odd one out. You have a picture and you must find out an hidden element.

The nature is quite a big examplar of this children game. There is, all around us animals, plants… who have a “mimicry instinct”.

That can be a strategic camouflage or a protection for their life. The result is fascinating : a butterfly like a leaf, a ctenomorpha like a branch… Insects and reptiles have especially the beautiest examples of this art of dissimulation.
